The KD Lighting Decoder is a subscription service where every analysis you run consumes real AI compute that we pay for at the moment you run it. Our refund policy is designed to be fair while protecting against abuse of that cost.
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Each month's payment unlocks that month's analysis credits, which you may use at any time during the billing period. You can cancel at any time and will not be charged again, but the current month is not refunded. We do not pro-rate partial months.
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have used less than 10% of your annual analysis credits. To request a refund:
Annual refund requests made after 7 days, or made after consuming 10% or more of the annual credit allotment, are not eligible.
Automatic renewals — both monthly and annual — are not refundable. You can cancel at any time before the renewal date through the Customer Portal accessible from your account to prevent the renewal charge.
If the Service fails to deliver an analysis due to a technical problem on our end, we automatically refund the credit to your account. You do not need to request this.
If you encounter a billing error (e.g. duplicate charge, charge after cancellation), email us at kelvin@kelvindesigns.info and we will investigate and correct it promptly.
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in permanent suspension of your account.
